my brother asked me, days before, if i wanted to buy his phone from him, as mine is broken. our older brother just told me awhile ago that he'd buy it for me, as he knows i'm saving up. he wasn't even finished talking yet when something fell with a thump on the floor, from where i had just put the book i was reading. it was his phone, and it wasn't reacting to any of the buttons i pressed. passing it to him, i said with a sigh, "i'll pay the repair costs."
what irony.
